Dr. Rafael Echevarne is the Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean of Airports Council International (ACI-LAC), a position he has held since 2020. Previously, he served as CEO of Montego Bay International Airport in Jamaica and as Director of Economics at ACI World. In addition, he has held strategic positions in airport companies and international organizations in Europe, Australasia, the Middle East and Latin America, focusing on economic regulation, privatization, infrastructure development and airport business.

He holds a PhD in Air Transport Economics from Cranfield University, UK, and has more than 25 years of professional experience in the aviation industry.
